Healing heart

There comes a time when you let go of the plethora of pain and suffering. There comes a time when you choose to extract yourself out from the abyss of distress and relocate yourself where you actually belong. You decide to let go of all the darkness and welcome life’s all bounties. It doesn’t kill you to stay all by yourself. Instead, it is more than okay… You check for the tears, but they refuse to roll out. You check for the dark circles and find them vanishing slowly and gradually, even as peace seeps in your soul.

Your day now starts with you standing by your window, blushing, as the sun rays kiss your cheeks, and not with your sleep abandoning you at an odd hour of the night. You no more find solace in the sad melodies earplugged at full volume; even deaf to the correct advice of your parents. Instead you enjoy dancing the hell out of a song behind the closed doors of your room. You don’t have to fake a smile and fool the people that you’re okay, because you really are.

There comes a time when you realize that the people you thought you couldn’t live without, can live without you. So the demand of the time is to re-prioritize people in your life and save that li’ll heart you have for the people who actually love you.

This time, this chance, this life you’ve got. Snatch it. Embrace it. Love it. Live it.

  1. Coming to that realization can be a little difficult initially but it forces us to pay special attention to the people we choose to invest our time, love and efforts into. No relationship is perfect but without mutual respect and love for each other one person would have the burden of trying to sustain that relationship. That is kind of relationship can be very draining. Thank you for sharing.
